The most expensive 911 you can buy, and I really don’t want it...

I like this. Makes you think he’s taking it to the track this weekend.

It’s the convertible thing. If you get a Turbo S coupe, I’ll trade you, straight up.

The color of the convertible top though... that’s what I don’t like. I get that people get sick of black on silver but seriously. Maroon?

I seem to be the only one here that can wrap my brain around the idea of a Turbo S convertible.

I just feel it kind of ruins the beautiful lines of the 911. The 991 soft top follows the shape of the coupe a little better than in the past, but you still lose those great, long lines from hips to top of A pillar.
Also, the convertible is heavier.
And I’m so white I can only enjoy an open top at dawn and dusk (and at night, I guess).

My boss’ Z4M has a dark gray top over medium gray. Looks good...

There could very well beetles in that convertible top.
Carmine , also called crimson lake , cochineal , natural red 4 , C.I. 75470 , or E120 , is a pigment of a bright- red color obtained from the aluminium salt of carminic acid ; it is also a general term for a particularly deep-red color of the same name . The pigment is produced from some scale insects such as the cochineal scale and certain Porphyrophora species ( Armenian cochineal and Polish cochineal ). Carmine is used in the manufacture of artificial flowers, paints, crimson ink, rouge, and other cosmetics, and is routinely added to food products such as yogurt , candy and certain brands of juice, the most notable ones being those of the ruby-red variety.

The only reason I know about carmine is because there was a kerfuffle a few years ago where Starbucks was using carmine in its strawberry-flavored beverages, and vegetarians and vegans were complaining about unwittingly consuming an animal-based product in what they thought was a vegetarian drink.
Also, there is the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine”.
